Right before Fourth of July, we stopped into Rocky Pond Winery in downtown Chelan to visit our good wine industry friends Jill and Rochelle. Jill manages the Chelan location and Rochelle just took over the Rocky Pond tasting room in Woodinville.
We never managed to catch up with Rochelle who was busy getting acquainted with Rocky Pond’s wines and procedures, but we can see her any time we want to go pester her in the Woodinville tasting room! So we chatted with Jill, who is so very knowledgeable about wine in general and about Chelan wine and its tasting rooms.
We couldn’t resist an ice cold glass of Rose when offered!
Jen hadn’t been in before and was so impressed by the tasting room’s fabulous decor.
You can reserve this large table for your group – remember that tasting rooms appreciate you making reservations ahead of time if your group is six or more people.
You can also most likely rent this gorgeous space for private events.

We perused the current tasting menu, and purchased a bottle of Glacial Treasure white wine for me, Pinot Gris for my houseguests, and a Rose wine bottle for Jen.
The couches are so comfy, but we were tempted by the people-watching possibilities on their outdoor patio as well.
If the patio is crowded, you can sip your wine in these club chairs and watch the tourists passing by outdoors.
You can take a look at the large variety of quality, award winning wines available from Rocky Pond on their website. That reminds me, I haven’t tried their Stratastone GSM yet, and I need to pick up another bottle of their Double Gold winning Malbec!
